What's typically covered?

Legal expenses insurance could fund legal costs if you are faced with a dispute relating to your home, your employment, a personal injury or the buying or hiring of goods or services.

Policy cover, exclusions and limitations vary between different products. For more detailed information, visit our product pages.

Where can I buy it?

It’s possible to buy stand-alone legal expenses insurance, but most policies are purchased as additional services through home or motor insurance providers.

But do remember to check the cover you already have in place before adding legal expenses insurance to a new insurance policy; you may already have it via another policy.
